This company has yet to follow through with a consistent monthly service plan. Every month since November of last year, I get at least two cancellations. They have been unable to keep time window appointments, and when I make my appointments in advance I ask to be the first stop. Unfortunately, they continue to call to let me know they have a morning staff meeting and can’t make it but they only bother to tell me that the morning of the appointment window. I have been a customer for over ten years and I do not recommend this service.

Chris from Excel is extremely unprofessional. While he was servicing my neighbors home he proceeded to fog the back yard with chemicals blown airborne from a backpack blower while my daughter and dogs were playing in the back yard. Chris never checked his surroundings to make sure no one was breathing in what he was blowing all while he has a full respirator on. You all should never blow chemicals when people are outside especially when they are down wind. The chemicals are all known to cause cancer. No one that cares about their health and the health of their neighbors should use those company. When approached Chris was combative and said he can’t control where the wind takes it. I said then why don’t you check your surroundings and make sure no one is outside. Completely unacceptable behavior from a company!!!

Yesterday I called Excel Pest Control with an urgent issue and was able to get an inspection done right away today. Thomas came to our home, did a thorough inspection, and came up with a plan of action for an infestation situation which he started implementing today! He said that he will continue to monitor the process with us and will come back again if and when necessary. We signed up for an ongoing treatment plan and we are feeling more confident now that we will have our issues resolved. Michael Occhipinti was very very helpful and set us up with everything and it was super easy process and straightforward. We had a bit of an emergency situation and Michael called me back immediately, helped calm my worries a bit and gave me a price and let us know what we needed to do for the visit. He was even able to get us an appointment quickly.I ended up needing to cancel the apt because the issue we were having was actually another issue (this was a communication issue on my end) and he cancelled the appointment with ease. I have been a client for more than a year, had yellow jackets out side my house, called Excel they said bees are not covered as I have only yard plan and I will need to upgrade and take Home+Yard protection plan and they send one of their account specialist to check.Phil Infermo ( Account specialist ) from Teaneck , NJ came to check out the issue. He said we can pay $595 one time fee for his visit and he will fix the issue or pay $199 and sign up a annual contract for Yard + Home. I felt very dissapointed that inspite of being a existing customer I have to shell out additional $199 to upgrade my plan to cover this issue of yellow jackets. I had no issues in upgrading my plan but I felt pressured to sign up for annual contract plus pay additional $199.

Aaron has serviced our house a couple of times and he is always thorough and personable. He puts a personal touch on his service and makes the company seem like less of a business and more of a mom and pop operation. He also made sure to call 30 minutes before coming over which was helpful and appreciated.We have noticed less bugs inside since having our house serviced by Excel which is wonderful.
