This company has yet to follow through with a consistent monthly service plan. Every month since November of last year, I get at least two cancellations. They have been unable to keep time window appointments, and when I make my appointments in advance I ask to be the first stop. Unfortunately, they continue to call to let me know they have a morning staff meeting and can’t make it but they only bother to tell me that the morning of the appointment window. I have been a customer for over ten years and I do not recommend this service.
I have used Excel Pest twice now to help with unwanted ants. They have been great David answered my quote and worked on a good rate and Priamo came with him the second time. The issue has already progressed. The phone service is always friendly for scheduling and the guys have been respectful when entering the home. I recommend

Chris from Excel is extremely unprofessional. While he was servicing my neighbors home he proceeded to fog the back yard with chemicals blown airborne from a backpack blower while my daughter and dogs were playing in the back yard. Chris never checked his surroundings to make sure no one was breathing in what he was blowing all while he has a full respirator on. You all should never blow chemicals when people are outside especially when they are down wind. The chemicals are all known to cause cancer. No one that cares about their health and the health of their neighbors should use those company. When approached Chris was combative and said he can’t control where the wind takes it. I said then why don’t you check your surroundings and make sure no one is outside. Completely unacceptable behavior from a company!!!
We had a bad smell. David came to our house and found the problem. He did what was necessary and our problem should be over. He was very pleasant and easy to talk to. He also explained everything. Glad we had him. Plus, it was a good price.

Didnt want to look in attic although we had entries open with ladders in place. We are not absolutely sure that we do have a problem but suspect. All the man, who showed up , did was want to discuss money. Wouldn’t look unless we paid. If this is family business then they are from another country. The guy who showed was heavily accented and aggressive about money.
You never think a company that sells you a year long policy is going to follow through but Excel Pest Services has been AMAZING. Thomas has been to my home 3 times since I signed up 3 weeks ago and they caught the rodent in my house. Just a breath of fresh air to see that honest businesses still exist. We found Thomas to be very professional & personable as well as assuring he could get control of the pest problem. Michael Occhipinti was very very helpful and set us up with everything and it was super easy process and straightforward. We had a bit of an emergency situation and Michael called me back immediately, helped calm my worries a bit and gave me a price and let us know what we needed to do for the visit. He was even able to get us an appointment quickly.I ended up needing to cancel the apt because the issue we were having was actually another issue (this was a communication issue on my end) and he cancelled the appointment with ease. I have been a client for more than a year, had yellow jackets out side my house, called Excel they said bees are not covered as I have only yard plan and I will need to upgrade and take Home+Yard protection plan and they send one of their account specialist to check.Phil Infermo ( Account specialist ) from Teaneck , NJ came to check out the issue. He said we can pay $595 one time fee for his visit and he will fix the issue or pay $199 and sign up a annual contract for Yard + Home. I felt very dissapointed that inspite of being a existing customer I have to shell out additional $199 to upgrade my plan to cover this issue of yellow jackets. I had no issues in upgrading my plan but I felt pressured to sign up for annual contract plus pay additional $199.
