Thomas the Terminator came to my house today 3/20/24. We have had a mouse living in our house for 8 months that our dog brought in from the backyard. We used prior exterminators who never got the job done. This mouse has tortured my kids and dogs for months. One call, one visit from Thomas, and no wonder his nickname is “Terminator”. Stopped servicing my property without warning or notice. Was not behind on payments and they couldn’t tell me what happened. When I told them they messed up they sent someone out a week later, without letting me know, thinking they could sneak back in their schedule. We had to send them away, and never even received an apology. Maybe they assumed I was a seasonal business, however, they should have known my operating hours if they did their due diligence. But they must be the most unprofessional, most disorganized pest control company to ever exist. Avoid at all cost!

I was having a serious Bee problem in the dead of winter. I called Excel and they scheduled an appt on the same day. Arrived promptly and prepared to take care of the issue. Haven't seen another bee since the treatment. Looking forward to continous treatments 4 times a year to help control and eliminate any future pest invasions.

We’ve been using Excel since we bought our house last year and have always had a positive experience with them. They come out every quarter to check any traps/monitors that they put down, as well as spray the outside foundation to prevent any pests from coming in. Nothing is ever foolproof so we do still see critters from time to time, but the monitors do a good job of catching most of them.Phil has been our service technician twice and he is wonderful. Very friendly, professional, and addresses all our concerns. We had an ant problem back in the summer that he took care of.I would definitely recommend going with them!

The Pro's:They answered my call on a Saturday, and were able to come later that same day for a bee issue we were having. Free consultation. My technician, Thomas, was polite, professional, informative, and knowledgeable. He did also resolve the issue of where the bee's were, that was visible to me and I pointed out to him. He also offered me to text him if I had any further trouble in the days following..The Con's:Upon the outcome of the free consultation, the price was contingent on me having to spend $500 total, this visit would go towards the amount spent on a service plan. I would prefer to have just paid for the service provided that day, not be hooked into a longer term plan. We've never had any pest issue prior, and I was not looking for a longer term agreement. I was not given any other option. I felt obligated since I needed the issue rectified that day, so I agreed on a monthly yard spray, and a one additional house spray in order to meet that $500 commitment.Later that week after the house spraying was done for the bee's, I found a nest in front of the house with several bee's. I called the company, and the assured me they would send someone out to handle it, although it would take several days. I didn't like that my new customer call was scheduled the same day, on a Saturday nonetheless, but a follow-up call for existing customers took a few days once I was already a paid customer. (they did come & the issue was resolved by another technician).Lastly, while it was nice I can text the technician if I had follow-up questions, issues, etc., and he gladly answered them (much appreciated), I was confused on who to contact each time. One time I called the office to get clarity on what would be performed and charged and when, and they had no idea of my $500 agreement. I had to contact technician. I contacted technician for other reasons such as scheduling the front bees' nest and future yard sprayings, and for that it was the office I had to contact.Overall, I would recommend Excel as they definitely resolved the issue of the bee's. I just wish they would change their price structuring, and make only one point of contact either way.
I’ve been with Excel for sometime but have found their service and product has went down hill - significantly. There is no value with their product. They came and sprayed, yet I am still having bugs namely spiders. Then on things I need assistance with like a nest they’re unable to assist with. Hard to justify spending $100+ per quarter on people that don’t do their job effectively, unable and reluctant to assist when needed and have customer service equatable to that of a greasy spooned diner.

He knew exactly what needed to be done and reassured us that the yearly coverage would offer unlimited service calls if necessary. For example, today Shane came to my house and spent quite a bit of time searching until he found where the critters were coming in. He patched everything up and I felt confident that he did a good job.
Drew T. is not only professional, knowledgeable, and thorough, but he is one of the most driven individuals I’ve worked with in any capacity. He will protect your home as if it was his. Unsurprisingly, he is extremely busy and his time is in high demand, but I would rather wait longer for Drew to properly assess and treat our home than work with another tech. My company has been using Excel Pest Services for over a year now and we are happy with the services provided. Juan Ocasio is our regular technician and he is very professional, friendly, helpful and communicative. If for any reason we have to reschedule our standard appointments the office is very quick to accommodate us. I'm sure we will seek out their services on future projects.
Called after catching a mouse in the house. They responded next day and we haven't seen a sign of any mice since (nearly 2 years). They come out quarterly to check and to spray the exterior base of the house to protect against most bugs. While there they will also answer questions and address any issues as they see them. I took off a star because information is difficult to find on what they can do, what is covered by each level of protection plan, and how much everything costs. The only way I could find to get that information is to have a sales tech come out to look at your house. The obfuscation of information makes it difficult to trust that you aren't being overcharged.
Great service, we had squirrels in our walls. We reached out to Excel after a squirrel managed to make it's way inside our home. Evan came, assessed our home both inside and outside. Had Charles (I believe that was his name) come out and make a one way tunnel. We heard the squirrels for about a week after that. And about a week later, nothing. We called Excel back, Charles came to seal the hole. And we have not heard anything since. They could have easily charged us for multiple tunnels / holes if they wanted to but they really did the job in one visit, one tunnel. I was really nervous to call pest control because these things add up and we didn't know if the problem could really be solved but I was happily surprised by their services. Also they are open on Saturdays which also is not the case with many of these services.
Kenny from the Teaneck office was awesome. He responded quickly , was professional and made sure the appointment was set up in a timely fashion. The gentlemen who came to my home were fantastic as well ! Will highly recommend to whom ever needs any services ! Thank you again !

I have been a customer of Excel for the last 4 years. I'm not thrilled with the level of service however the technician that serviced our home yesterday was absolutely great. Earl was thorough and very personable. He took his time and made sure everything was done properly , he didn't rush through like other techs had done in the past. Earl seemed to be very knowledgeable and seemed to take pride in his work. Excel could be better as a company but they did a good job by hiring Earl.
I have been using Excel Pest Control for over two years for a few different issues. Different service men have come in but when it comes to service and knowledge Juan (#48) is truly the best. He is now our go to man and is requested for every service visit. He puts our mind at ease that the problem will (and has) been solved.

We've been using Excel since the start of 2020. First they helped us get rid of a bird nest issue we had and put block in tunnels on our property so squirrels couldn't get back in. Although no company is perfect, every concern that we've had they have addressed it and have been willing to work through it until we had a satisfactory outcome. We've also serious had issues with mosquitoes in our neighborhood. There mosquito treatment service has worked wonders and we've been able to use our yard more comfortably since they started treating our property monthly. Today a service tech's came by, named was Shawn C. I highly recommend requesting him, very professional!

About 1 or 2 months ago I was having mice issues throughout my house residing in Fort Lee. My wife was freaking out so I immediately called Excel. A technician by the name of Chris came over and I haven’t had any issues since he came by. Chris found a couple entry points on the inside and outside of the home. He also gave me some tips to avoid any rodent issues in the future. I had Excel come by one more time to check the traps Chris had set out and everything was clear. 3 weeks ago I was having reoccurring Issues with cockroaches in my residence in Teaneck nj. A young man named Chris assured me he would take care of the issue and indeed he did. I haven’t had any problems since and would highly recommend him. Thank you excel you guys are the best.
Called Excel the morning after a rough night of listening to animals crawling around and gnawing in our walls. Mike came for an inspection that same morning and we were able to schedule an appointment to take care of it the next day. Mike helped us answer A LOT of questions and made us feel comfortable about the situation. He was thorough in the inspection and also in placing bait stations and traps. I’ve been using Excel for the past year now and just wanted to say the Eric is kind, considerate, and very conscientious. He knows we have pets in the home and he always lets us know when he’ll be spraying and how to avoid issues with our dogs. WOW! Marvelous! I'm very happy with the service that my landlord has provided with choosing Excel as our pest control company. I had an awful rodent issue earlier in the fall, I was fairly new to the location, did not know what to expect ; I met with tech #41 Mr. Genis , he was very helpful with tips on how to prevent this from happening again. He helped with sealing any holes that were gaining them access. Would love to have him here again, as I no longer have this problem, I greatly appreciated his work and knowledge! Great job Excel! Our Technician 41 Eduardo Genis , is great. He is always Punctual and he very knowledgeable . When he get to our facility he makes that he goes over everything that he has done. and gives advice on how to maintain the best control possible for our 8000 sq ft facility.
Amazing company !! I hired them in the summer for routine visits. The first visit was great but 2nd visit for my quartet visit was amazing! Evan came and was so thorough. He took his time and even explained the minor “issues” he saw. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a pest guy or exterminator. I’ll be requesting Evan for my next visit in the spring.

Once again....Amazing and fast service from Kenny and Will. I had an emergency on my Thanksgiving prep day with the arrival of some sort of wildlife in an old dryer vent. Kenny called me back immediately and was at my home within 20 minutes. After figuring out the best possible game plan....first one bird and then a second flew to freedom! They also went above and beyond and came back the next morning to secure a dryer vent cover for me. Additional note...no birds or humans were harmed during this removal!
